EPILEPSY

 

 

 

I was diagnosed with Juvenile Epilepsy into my early teenage years. When we think of  a person with Epilepsy or with any other disability, we often construct an idea or a stigma about their persona. Just because you are living with a disability does not make you less than or better than the rest.  Epilepsy has challenged me in so many levels, I am not “proud” of it, nor do I think of it as a curse or a blessing from the gods. I just have grown to live with it.

 

I do not let a disability define who I am.

I do not let Epilepsy define who I am.
